A compact record that keeps the source definition attached to every figure. A Fortnite statistics note should remain understandable when you return to it later. Saving a number without its label makes that harder. Preserve the access date, measurement and reporting window before adding an interpretation, so the notebook can distinguish a source observation from a claim you still need to investigate. Fortnite player-count snapshot Observed 23 October 2026. ActivePlayer’s Fortnite player-count dashboard displayed these figures: • Players now — dashboard label: 1,080,383 • In-match now — dashboard label: 683,663 • Reported 24-hour peak: 1,249,247 • All-time peak — ActivePlayer record: 14,343,880 This is a saved reading, not an embedded live counter. ActivePlayer says it compiles player figures from Epic Games platform data. These are not Steam-only measurements. Keep “players now” and “in-match now” separate; they are not two disjoint audiences to add together. Other dashboard widgets have their own dates and windows, so this note does not combine them into a new total. Give each measurement its own field Keep current players and in-match activity in separate columns. Retain the daily-peak window and identify the all-time value as a historical record. Do not rename these fields unique daily users, monthly active accounts or a retention cohort. Save the original page URL beside the values. If the source’s widgets use different dates, record that difference and avoid combining them into a single time series without further checking. Store product context separately Keep the official Fortnite website as the product reference. Its list of experiences helps identify the mode you mean, but a game-wide audience reading does not provide the exact population of each listed activity. A practical research row contains game, experience scope, metric, date or period, value and source. Add a comparison only after those fields agree. Leave an unavailable baseline marked unavailable rather than inventing a zero. Make a later comparison reproducible Use the ActivePlayer game-statistics directory for more audience histories. Preserve the two original observations, their absolute difference and any valid percentage. A lower snapshot than an all-time peak does not measure individual retention. The notebook becomes useful when someone can follow the original definition as easily as the final sentence. Independent editorial analysis. Not affiliated with Epic Games.
